When Tom and Jacque Belcastro decided to purchase 15 acres of farmland on the big island of Hawaii, they knew the decision was the right one for them. With seventy plus years of family farming in their blood, it seemed a natural step to start a coffee plantation. Cherry Hill Estate is located in the heart of the coffee belt, an area twenty miles long and two miles wide. This area offers the ideal growing climate: consistent temperature year round, a wealth of sunshine and frequent mountain mist, yielding a juicier more flavorful bean.
Cherry Hill's high-tech, state of the art equipment proves to be environmentally friendly while also meeting our high standards of product quality. To assure we meet these standards, we work with the Agricultural Department of the University of Hawaii. Their guidelines and rating systems match those used by the world’s best coffee growers.
